As a Laboratory Supervisor at Zentech Health, youwill play a crucial role in providing expertise and championing results withinour clinical laboratory. Expected Tasks:

• Supervise technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and assign areas/shifts.
• Oversee processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance in technical discipline areas, specimen collection, processing, and referral testing.
• Develop monitoring systems for quality assessment and improvement data; initiate corrective action plans and re-monitor results.
• Concurrently monitor resource utilization, including payroll, supplies, expenses, client volume, revenue variation reports, outpatient volume reports, mileage, and expense logs.
• Provide leadership in coaching, guidance, training, and talent development of staff.
• Screen, interview, and select qualified individuals for open positions within the department.

Requirements

Experience Requirements:

• 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician generalist required.
• Prior supervisory experience is beneficial but not required.

Education Requirements:

• 2-Year/Associate Degree in Science or Medical Laboratory Technician is required.
• 4-Year/Bachelor Degree in Medical Technology preferred.

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• FL State Supervisor License Required.
• Licensure in 3 technical specialties Required.
• ASCP or AMT required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
